Is Your Raw Food Making You Weak?

Most Raw Foodies believe that they have chosen a wonderful lifestyle that over time will make them stronger, better, healthier. But is this really true? Are you experiencing all sorts of weird symptoms that you think are going to get better soon as long as you can just stick to your Raw diet?

I am one of the many Raw Foodies that has embraced this amazing lifestyle for all of it's wonderful benefits. And I have experienced many awesome changes as a result. So, why do I (and perhaps you too) have all sorts of strange symptoms going on? Is it just because we are "cleansing" and "purifying" our bodies? Or is there something else involved here?

After being Raw for many years one would think that the "cleansing", etc. would be over with and done. Right? And truly it should be, if that were all there was too it. So, what is really going on here??

Of course it could be several things, but the one I am going to discuss now is that your Raw Food may be making you Weak instead of Strong. Our Bio-Computers are digital - this means we are either Strong or Weak, On or Off, just like any other digital device. So when we eat, whether Raw Food or something else, we need to be sure we are Strong to what we are eating. So be sure to tell yourself to be Strong to whatever you eat.

Also, eating things that you believe are "good for you" can bring up a weakness to things that are "bad for you". This is called the opposite effect. Things that are normally considered good for you can actually be harming you, because your Bio-Computer goes Weak when you eat them.

So, if you eat something that you are certain is good for you, and you find yourself having some unwanted symptoms from it, be sure to remove the opposite affect, so that you will indeed receive the benefits and not be harmed by it.

Are You Attracting Cooked Food into Your Life?

What you are weak to you will attract. This is a fact we recognize in our lives.
It's always the hardest to overcome or change the things that make us feel powerless.
So how can we change this in our lives? How can we overcome the things that are weighing us down?

The First thing you must do is make yourself strong to all the possibilities. For example, if you are struggling with junk food, perhaps cooked pizza or whatever your weakness is, you need to be strong to having pizza and strong to not having pizza. If you are strong to both the possibilities, then you will be able to make the choice to have or not to have.

When you make yourself strong to all the options you will be able to make whatever choice you want.
So that even if you decide to chose the cooked food option, it will not make you weak, and you will not have to "beat yourself up" for "falling off the wagon". And your ability to continue your Raw/Living Food Lifestyle after the event will be easier with less struggle.

We all want less struggle! So make yourself strong to having things you have told yourself are forbidden, and to not having them. Then you will attract more of what you want in your life, and stop attracting what you don't want.

Are You Stong Enough to Go RAW?

Seriously, are you strong enough to be eating all that raw food?

Most of us come to the Raw/Living Food lifestyle from having eaten mostly cooked food all our lives.
What makes us think that our bodies can handle the change?

For many people it is very difficult to change. They struggle with this change in their life energy, so they keep going back to what has been comfortable for them. Then they beat themselves up for not being strong enough to stick with their new chosen lifestyle.

If you fall into this category, there are several things you can do. First, make yourself strong to changing (just say "strong to changing"). You may have to do this several times at first and then again any time you are not feeling strong to your changes. Second, make yourself strong to eating raw food (again, just say "strong to eating raw food"). When you do these things you are asking your Bio-computer (Body, Mind, and Spirit) to support your changes and your new lifestyle. This will make it a lot easier to make the transition. One more thing you can do is to make yourself remove all your old craving (you get the idea now, right, just say, "remove all my old cravings").

Of course, I am oversimplifying here to help you get going. There may be other things weakening you, or holding you back, or with which you are struggling. But this is a good place to start. Feel free to comment with any questions you may have.

Our Bio-computer speaks the same language we do, whatever language that may be. So by using this natural language we can easily reprogram ourselves to be Strong Enough to Go Raw!

Is Health the Most Important thing?

You've probably heard the expression, "if you haven't got your Health, you haven't got anything", or some variation of this. And us Raw Foodies tend to put our Health on a Pedestal.

But in reality "Health" is only one part of what makes us whole and capable of achieving our highest potential.

The other components are Relationships, Fitness, Prosperity, Purpose, Rejuvenation, and Time.

How these affect us are often perceived incorrectly as being a Health problem. For instance, if you have a Prosperity problem, it may cause your emotions to get out of balance, which may cause you to have a lot of problems with your breathing or digestive ability or it may even cause headaches or other painful sensations.

A Relationship problem may be causing similar problems. It could also be causing you to invite some traumatic experience into your Life to bring more attention to your self from whomever your relationship is not strong.

Each of the components of Life needs to be strong for all the others to support us to function at our highest level. We simply don't perform well as human beings when they are out of balance or not at their optimal level.

Many people turn to the Raw Food Lifestyle to improve their health. Some achieve high levels of health, and solve their problems this way. But most do not. You simply can't "eat your way" out of your problem, if it isn't a health problem to begin with. I'm not disrespecting the Raw Food Lifestyle at all here. I am a long time Raw Foodie myself, and fully appreciate the Alkalizing nature and many other benefits that go with it.

But, No, Health is Not the Most Important Thing. It's only one part of the whole picture of having a fulfilling, balanced life.

What is the the Biggest problem Raw Foodies encounter?

The Biggest problem Raw Foodies encounter is Information Overload! There are too many "Experts", offering too many opinions.

You may ask "Why is this a problem"?

Our BMS ~Body, Mind, and Spirit~ which records everything we experience, both consciously, sub-consciously and non-consciously, needs to be purged every now and then to keep running smoothly. Think about your computer - when it gets full of all the things you download constantly and you don't have much room left on your hard drive, you either need to delete some things or get a bigger hard drive. The same applies to our information storage system (we call this our Bio-Computer - or BMS).

So in the same way a computer's efficiency decreases with information overload, we do too.

The solution is to continually delete all the unwanted information, or at least the energy of it. This helps us to use more effectively the information we want and not be overloaded and become dysfunctional from the information we don't want or need.

So while it is great that there is a lot of information about the Raw Food Diet and many variations on it by various "Experts", we as individuals need to be sure we are not overwhelmed by the information to the point it gives us any problems. Read all you like, but be "strong" to what you read. When you are energetically "strong" to what you read, then you are Free to make your own Choices about what you do with the information.

Energetics and the Raw Food "Diet"

Hi Everyone,

I'm taking a new direction with my blog. I'll still post new recipes and pictures, if and when they happen. But for right now, I would like to dedicate my blog posts to helping Raw Foodies with their difficulties in Going Raw, Being Raw, Staying Raw and anything & everything else that troubles them about the Raw "Diet". So if you have any questions or problems, please post them in the comments and I will be happy to help. I'm a long time Raw Foodie (first went Raw back in 1987), so I've seen and done and experienced a wide range of problems and solutions. I'm also a long time Nutritionist and Energetics Consultant, so I am happy to share my knowledge, experience, and abilities with the Raw Community.

Pizza for dinner tonight :)

Non Raw friends always think I have given up an awful lot of delicious things to eat by eating a raw diet. But I actually eat a much larger variety of delicious foods as a raw vegan than I ever did before. Plus food tastes so much better that eating a tomato or a cucumber or an apple can be just as satisfying (really More satisfying) as any thing I used to eat cooked.

Tonight I making Pizza. I got some "Livin' Spoonful" Pizza Crackers at my local Co-op, so I don't even have to make the crust. They are Handmade, Raw & Organic & oh, so good!

I've already got the sundried tomatoes soaked & ready to make a delicious pizza sauce. Then all I'll have to do is marinate some veggies, make a little nut cheez, and pile it all on. I'll probably top it off with some cherry tomatoes and raw olives. My mouth is watering - I can hardly wait till dinner! :)

Skip a meal, skip all those calories!

I wasn't hungry this morning, so it was a great day to not eat breakfast. Seriously people, who made up the phrase "breakfast is the most important meal of the day". Come on now, it sounds like someone's trying to sell you something! I say, if you aren't hungry, why should you force yourself to eat. No wonder our nation is struggling with obesity. If you want to lose weight, what better way than to skip a meal when you aren't hungry. I personally have lots more energy to do other things when I'm not weighed down digesting a meal. Not to mention the time saved preparing the meal.

So with breakfast out of the way, around 3pm I started to get hungry, so I had some delicious green smoothie. Very satisfying, nourishing and delicious.

Dinner was lots of Kale salad, with a little smear of curry sauce wrapped in a wonderful Curry Coconut Wrapper! One of my FAVORITE meals!!

Kiwis and other Green Things

Today's breakfast was Kiwis, Kiwis, Kiwis.
Actually four of them, peeled, chopped and enjoyed!
They make a very satisfying breakfast. :)
It's nearly 3:00pm and I'm not hungry for lunch yet.
But my family is getting hungry, so it's off to the kitchen to make a green smoothie.
Recipe:
Bananas, Strawberries, Kale, Water, whole peeled Lemons, Dates, Chia Seeds

I promised to share what I am eating, so here goes

Yesterday was Chocolate Day! Yeah for chocolate! So I made a chocolate brownie crust with young coconut chocolate filling pie for breakfast. It was to live for! I didn't hear a single complaint at the breakfast table. lol
I skipped lunch, flying along on the chocolate energy. I walked farther and faster than usual on my daily walk as well.
While I was fixing dinner I munched on a few cucumber slices & cherry tomatoes. My taste buds were delighted. :)
For dinner I made Spicy Barbequed Cauliflower. Mmmmmmm Warmed in the dehydrator @ 118% for about an hour or more. It's so satisfying.

Recipes

Chocolate Brownie Crust:


Chop together in food processor


2 Cups Raw Pecans
1/4 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
Dash Himalayan Crystal Salt

Add and process until smooth and evenly chopped

10 Large Medjool Dates (pitted)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)

Press into pan or individual serving bowls

Chocolate Young Coconut Pudding/filling:

Blend together in high speed blender until smooth

3 cups Young Coconut Meat
2 cups Water or Coconut Water
20 Large Medjool Dates (less if using Coconut Water)
1 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
1/4 teaspoon Himalayan Crystal Salt
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract


Spicy BBQ Cauliflower:

Stir together in a large bowl and set aside while making the sauce

1 Large head Raw Cauliflower (washed/dried, thinly sliced)
6 Spring Onions sliced
1 bunch Cilantro chopped
1 Tablespoon Raw Olive Oil
A few dashes Himalayan Crystal Salt

Spicy BBQ Sauce:

Blend together in high speed blender until smooth, then stir into the prepared Cauliflower mixture. Divide into serving bowls and warm in dehydrator for about an hour @ 118 degrees.


1 packed cup Sun Dried Tomatoes (pre-soaked for 1 hour and well rinsed if salted tomatoes are used)
2 cups Water
5 Large Medjool Dates (pitted)
2 Tablespoon Raw Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 - 1 Cup Fresh Raw Onion
1-2 Tablespoons Fresh Raw Ginger (peeled & sliced)
1/2 teaspoon Chipotle Powder (not a raw product - it's been smoked - this gives the smokey flavor to the BBQ Sauce)
If needed a little Himalayan Crystal Salt (to taste)

What is the "Rollercoaster Diet"?

So what is this Rollercoaster Diet?
It's simply changing what you eat everyday. That includes how many meals, what type of food, how much food, how much water, fasting, whatever, just making every day as different as possible.
You see, our bodies get into a rut easily from repetitive eating. So by changing constantly it jolts the body into releasing the extra waste products that we otherwise hold onto.
As an example I fast one day on water, another on fresh juices, another day I eat only dinner, another only breakfast or lunch. Some days I eat two meals, some days three meals, some days I eat anything I want and as much as I want. I am still consuming a 99.99% Raw Organic Diet, because this is the most compatible with my particular body. But I am not opposed to a rare cooked meal, just for the sake of keeping things varied. I also vary what type of food I eat each day. Some days I eat all fruit, some days green smoothies all day long, some days lots of vegetables and seeds or nuts, some days high fat, some days no fat. The most important factors are change and making yourself strong to what you are doing (through energetic corrections).
So this is the basis of what I'm doing and it's working out great! I welcome others to join me on this journey and release unwanted pounds and inches to. Best wishes to all!

Creating A New Me!

Hello Friends, It's an amazing day for me today! I started a new journey back in March, 2011 improving my abilities as an energetics consultant. I've been working as an energetics consultant for over 20 years now, but learning new skills all the while continually improves my ability to help myself and others. So the new information I've been learning since last March is called Yuen Mastery. It was created by a very impressive man, Dr. Kam Yuen. He has an incredible array of knowledge, skills, and titles, which if you really want to know more about you can visit his website.
Back to my journey, since learning this new skill and getting quite good at it, I have been able to improve health, fitness, rejuvenation, relationships, purpose, and finances for myself and others.
My latest project has been creating a new scheme to rid myself and my dh of the spare tire we had both developed from becoming so sedentary after I sprained both my ankles back in November, 2009.
So I made up a new plan of action and using Yuen Mastery to make it work the most effectively and remove all the roadblocks that otherwise plague and prevent success, I have been successfully implementing what I call the "Roller-coaster Diet" for not quite a month yet (started January 4, 2012). I have released 6 pounds so far (I hope to release a total of 28 pounds altogether and lots of inches - about 3 dress sizes). But even more exciting, I have removed 3 inches from my waist and 3 inches from my midriff and 1 inch from my hips.
Just for reference, I started with Waist = 31 inches, Midriff = 36 inches, Hips = 39 inches. I have other body measurements recorded as well, but these are the main problem areas I am determined to change. My goal is to be able to fit into all the clothes I wore before spraining my ankles, when I was fit and the proper size and weight.
So I am going to be posting my journey in here to share with everyone, both my dietary efforts and the problems that are easily corrected with Yuen Mastery.
